The Petersfield Bookshop specialise in buying and selling antiquarian books, maps and prints. It is a large and rambling bookshop of a kind that is harder and harder to find these days: a browser’s paradise.
It was important for them to enable visitors to browse and search their extensive list of modern and antiquarian books which is being fed through a third party database.
We originally designed this website a number of years ago and it was not built to be 'mobile responsive' at that time. The client expressed their wish to have a responsive web design to enable people on mobiles to view the site without pinching and squeezing their screen but did not want to have to rebuild their website as cost was a factor.
This website is a perfect example how we can modify over 90% of all websites at a fraction of the cost of developing a new website.
